Why did you pick that name for your program?
“It summarizes my free-for-all taste in music, specializing in jazz from the 20’s to the 50’s.”

What can listeners expect on “Unhinged”?
“I bring back the older pop tunes wrapped in my relatively sharp sense of humor.  Anyone can play tunes but they can’t match your own particular style.”

What do you hope to accomplish with “Unhinged”?
“Bringing back these wonderful melodies. Often people tell me that their parents loved this music, and in a way, I bring back that feeling for them.”

How long has your program been on the air at WAPJ?
“Nine years.”

Where you in radio before WAPJ?
“My first radio experience was with WAPJ!”

If listeners could learn one thing about you, what would that be?
“I’m pretty well informed about classical music, been listening to it for over 60 years.”

Is there anything else you’d like to share with your listeners?
“I consider it an honor to be able to expose younger people to names like Basie, Ellington, Tatum, Peterson, etc.”
